Mrs. Margie Wood Mcvey

Margie was born on November 5, 1927 in Grandview, AR to Harvey and Artie Wood and passed away on June 1, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. She was a loving wife, mother and Mammaw.

Mrs. McVey was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William D. McVey.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of Margie is her son, Dale McVey of Vidor, TX; daughter, Diane Dickson and husband Kirk of Frierson, LA; sister, Betty Purscelley of Eugene, OR; grandchildren, Cindy Laffoon of Port Arthur, TX, Misty Isenhour of Selma, NC, Keslee Bourgeois of Stonewall, LA, Kami Rachal and husband Todd of Stonewall, LA, Kole Dickson and wife Rebekah of Stonewall, LA and Kala Dickson of Frierson, LA; great grandchildren, Trent, Randall, Madison and Summer Isenhour of Selma, NC, Derick and Hunter Laffoon of Vidor, TX, Lilly Bourgeois of Stonewall, LA and Eli Davis of Frierson, LA.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Loma Lafayette for her exemplary care and love shown to Margie, as well as, Live Oak Health Center's East Wing Dept.
