Mary Anne Fair Lightner

Mary Anne Fair Lightner, age 91, passed away on Wednesday October 16, 2019. She was born March 1, 1928 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She had a strong faith and enjoyed attending church and Sunday school at Kingston Road Baptist Church. She was an avid Jeopardy fan. Mary had a great sense of humor and would laugh at herself often. She loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Sherrie K. Carter; special daughter-in-law, Karen Hough; grandchildren, Staci Carter Carlsen, Kristy, Arnie, and Dennie Hough and Krystal Jones (Chris); great grandchildren, Matt, Mason, Jayden, and Jaycee Hough, Dalton Carlsen and J.T. Carlsen (Hannah); a great great grandchild, Lillie Anne Carlsen; and a brother, Robert Fair.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Ruth Hassell Fair; son, Paul Wade Hough; sisters, Cleopatra Anderson and Frances Tompkins; and brother, James Fair.

A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, October 21, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108 with a celebration of life to follow.
