Mrs. Mary Grace Grace Clifton McCoy

Shreveport, LA- Funeral services for Mary Grace Clifton McCoy, 82, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2012 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Mike Stowell. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 5-8 p.m.

Mrs. Grace was called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, surrounded by family. She was born in Waterproof, LA. She was married to Doc McCoy, Jr. and they raised their family in Shreveport. Grace was a member of the First Baptist Church in Keithville. Having a loving and outgoing personality, she never met a stranger.

Mrs. Grace was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Donna Taylor.

Left to cherish beautiful Memories of Mary are her children, Linda Whitlock and husband Robert of Stonewall, Roger McCoy and wife Ginger of Stonewall, Susan Phillips and husband Bob of Hattiesburg, MS and Tammy Gilbert of North Richland Hills, TX. She is also survived by 16 loving grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren (with 2 more on the way) and numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be nephews: Michael, Kenneth, Tony, Keith, Eric and Bruce McCoy.
