

Keithville, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Milton Crager, 78, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2015 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Chris Wilcott. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Milton was born on November 16, 1936 in Alco, LA and passed away peacefully on July 30, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. He was a dedicated and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Mr. Crager was a police officer for 31 years with the city of Shreveport and state of Louisiana. He retired as a Captain from University Health. He served as the Chief of the Alcohol Tobacco Control for the state of Louisiana. Milton had a servant's heart and helped anyone that he could. He was a very selfless person who gave his all to others. Mr. Crager loved his family, his faith and his God with all his heart.
Mr. Crager was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Brennan Duprey.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Milton is his wife of 60 years, Margaret Crager; children, Beverly Permenter and husband Huie, James Crager and wife Brenda and Bradley Crager; brother, Norman Crager; sister, Linda Griffin and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Honoring Mr. Crager as pallbearers will be: Bill Britt, Jesse Wilson, Adam Crager, Cody Crager, Tad Crager and Simon Rios.
