Nancy Stewart, age 81, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024. She was born March 16, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas to Doris Jane Russell and Raymond Russell. She graduated from Fair Park High School in Shreveport, LA. After high school, she obtained a business degree from the local business school.
Nancy enjoyed reading and watching her favorite tv show, Chicago Fire, which she watched religiously. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She adored all the times she spent with her great grandkids, Mason, Carter, Bri'Angela, Marvianne and Charleigh.
Left to cherish her memory are children, Rusty Stewart and wife, Chrissy of Bossier City, Lisa Gibson and husband, Chris of Minden, LA and DeeDee Scotch Haynes; and seven grandchildren, Brad, Abby, Taylor, Brittany, Blake, John Paul and Josh. She was also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Stewart; son, Johnny Stewart; son-in-law, Paul Scotch; and her parents.
A visitation celebrating Nancy will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home & Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108.
