Born on January 29, 1940, Norma was raised in Keithville, Louisiana, and spent most of her adult life in Shreveport. She was a proud graduate of St. Vincent Academy. Norma married the love of her life, Carl, with whom she shared 68 wonderful years. She began her married life as a devoted housewife and found deep joy in raising her children.
To remain close to them, she became a school bus driver, faithfully transporting not only her own children but countless others each day. Her creativity blossomed as a young mother, leading her to study interior decorating. This passion eventually became her profession when she opened Hall Interiors, Inc., where she helped countless clients transform their homes with furniture, accessories, wallpaper, and more. Norma had a rare gift for seeing the potential in every space and bringing it to life with elegance and heart.
A devout Catholic, she generously shared her talents by decorating rectories for priests and even the bishop when they were neighbors. Her contributions extended to the Catholic Diocese Center, where she was asked to lend her design expertise.
After retiring, Norma and Carl moved to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Though they enjoyed their time abroad, Norma’s love for her children and grandchildren drew them back to Shreveport. Upon returning, local builders were quick to seek her help in new residential communities helping people with their new homes. She and Carl loved moving and redoing house after house, eventually settling in Bossier City.
In retirement, Norma treasured being close to family—her greatest joy. Her beloved Carl was an exceptional husband and caregiver who loved her deeply. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought her endless happiness and pride.
