Keithville, LA- Graveside Services celebrating the life of Pat Irene Young Marshall, 89, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 in Centuries Memorial Park. Officiating will be Rev. Dennis Aaron.
Pat was born on September 3, 1924 in Atlanta, LA and passed into the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 15, 2014 in Shreveport, LA. She was a member of Woodridge Baptist and Ruth's Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by the father of her children, Willie R. Young; infant son, Rickey and her second husband, Will Marshall.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Yvonne Young Coleman and Elaine Young Draper; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren all of Shreveport. Mrs. Marshall is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She will be loved and missed by all whose lives she touched.
She saw God in the Oneness of all people and found beauty in the perfection of nature. Pat loved her Sunday school class, fishing, playing dominoes and volunteering where needed.
