Patricia lived life with unmatched energy, joy, and a spirit of adventure that never faded. For more than 30 years, she served as a school bus driver with the Caddo Parish School Board, where generations of students adored her as “Mama Ginn.” Her laughter, warmth, and larger-than-life personality made every ride brighter, and she had a special way of making everyone feel seen, safe, and loved.
She was truly one of a kind, fun-loving, outgoing, and fearless to the very end. Patricia never turned down an adventure. Whether she was swimming, relaxing at the beach, scuba diving, feeding sharks, skydiving, or traveling with her family, she embraced every moment with excitement and courage. She lived boldly, loved deeply, and created a lifetime of unforgettable memories for those lucky enough to be by her side.
Patricia’s greatest joy was her family, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them. Her adventurous spirit was only matched by her deep love, unwavering support, and the joy she brought into every room she entered.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Michael Ginn; her daughters, Christy Fertenbaugh (Shawn), Cheryl Harris (Brad), and Cathy Sepulvado (Bryant); her grandchildren, Rachel Champion (William), Faith Harris, Hunter Fertenbaugh (Alyssa), and Nolan Sepulvado; her great-grandchildren, Maggie and Mason; her sisters Diane Curry (Tommy) and Sherie Holsted (Kenny) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Ray Walker, and her mother, Alena Faye Bryant Walker.
