Patricia Ann Kellogg, surrounded by loving family and friends passed away on March 10, 2011. She was born on May 16, 1936 in Springhill, LA. She will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, LA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.
Momma Kat’s family was the light of her life and she dedicated herself to loving each one unconditionally. She was a classic old fashioned mother who was always there with home-made meals, words of encouragement and help to anyone who needed a hand. Her legacy will be remembered by a home she created in which all were welcome.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Annie Bell Lindsey, husbands, Henry A. Kellogg and Joseph Williams; son, Jerry Kellogg; brother, Rogel Lindsey and step-daughter, Liz Arndt.
Patricia leaves behind her daughter and best friend, Renee and husband Joe Wrotny of Waskom, TX; sons, Ricky Kellogg of Blanchard, LA, Phillip Kellogg and wife Teresa of Bradley, Arkansas; stepsons, Michael Williams, Terry and Jerry; grandsons, Billy Maxwell and wife Charlene of Porter, TX, Brandon Kellogg of Shreveport, LA, Allen Kellogg of Beaumont, TX; granddaughters, Tanya Kellogg and David Weakley and Sharon Maxwell and fiance’ Kevin Strickland of Shreveport, LA; special daughter in law, Mary (Toni) Belanger of Shreveport, LA; special son in law, Richard Arndt of Mooringsport, LA; great grandchildren, Jacob, Lily, Owen, Ansleigh and Avery; sisters, Betty Bradham and husband Eddie of Mississippi, Dorothy Zachary of Cotton Valley, LA, Ann Chambless and husband Gerald of Alabama and one brother, Billy Lindsey and wife Edith of Bossier City, LA who comforted momma throughout her illness.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Margaret Stephenson, Dr. Nathan and all the staff at Promise Hospital who cared for her during her final days.
Pallbearers are Bob Daniels, Michael Williams, Raymond Jones, Terry Williams, David Guthrie, and Billy Mason.
