Phyllis Marie Feeney of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the age of 89. She was born April 24, 1931 in Derby, Connecticut to Daniel and Josephine Conner Heffernan. She graduated from Georgetown University in 1954 with a BS in Nursing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a dedicated compassionate nurse.
Left to cherish her memory are son, Daniel J. Feeney, MD and his wife Andrea R. Feeney, MD and their children Jameson Feeney, Charlotte Feeney and Josephine Feeney; son, Francis Feeney, DMD and his daughter Erin Reed, PhD; daughter, Mary Pacelli, Esq. and her husband Phil Pacelli, MD and their children Kaitlyn Pacelli, Esq., Philip Pacelli, IV, Esq. and Ashley Pacelli, DMD; and brothers, Fr. Robert Heffernan and Daniel Heffernan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. Feeney Jr. and her parents.
A visitation for Phyllis will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 4736 Lyba St, Shreveport, Louisiana 71109. A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Following will be a committal service at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, Louisiana 71109. Fr. Mark Watson will be officiating the services. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Daniel J. Feeney, MD, Jameson Feeney, Charlotte Feeney and Andrea Feeney, MD.
