Your Mom & Dad  will always have a special place in my heart.The memories will be cherished forever .Mr Bolton was like a second dad to me as Roy & I grew up.I went by to see him a couple times  in the past,ashamed of myself there weren't more times.I will allways love yall the Bolton's are special people in my

Uncle Cliff was my great uncle and he truly was that a "great" uncle.  He was one of the best, honestly good persons that I have ever known.  I will really miss him but know that he is in a most wonderful and beautiful place awaiting his loved ones. He is probably having a nice cup of coffee with God.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family and loved ones that he left behind.

R Clifton Bolton was my mother, Pauline Turner's, uncle and my Great uncle. I will miss my uncle. He was a deeply religious man, a truly loving family man, and a kinda and generous human being. My thoughts and prayers go out to his whole family. I love you and will miss you. Goodbye uncle Clif

Duane and I were out of town but called in to check with Edie and she gave us the details. Just know that we were praying for your comfort during these days. We love you both.

I have memories of Mr Bolton from way back in childhood to very recently. He was an awesome man and we will all be together in eternity with our Lord. Prayers for you, Anita, and all the family.

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another. 

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Robert  Clifton Bolton our Brother-in-Arms and fellow Legionnaire.  To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Robert.  And to Robert it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to tRobert him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during WW-II while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces and for many years of dedicated service to the American Legion Post 14.   Robert you were a valued Legionnaire, a wonderful comrade, and a true Patriot.  We bid you a sad farewell.  You will be dearly missed from among our ranks.  Be at Ease.  Rest in Peace.

On behalf of the 1,307 members of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion,  I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Robert’s family and loved ones.
