Mr. Rodney Allen Fletcher

Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Rodney Allen Fletcher, 80, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Chad Hardbarger. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Rodney was born on February 4, 1936 in Jackson, MS and passed away on October 20, 2016 in Shreveport, LA. Mr. Fletcher was a dedicated and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. Rodney was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He always worked very hard to take care of his family and enjoyed volunteering at his church.

Mr. Fletcher was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Allen Fletcher; son, Gary Fletcher and two brothers, Walter Allen Fletcher, Jr. and Glen Roy Nichols.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Una Fletcher; sisters, Gloria Allen and husband Billy Ray and Sue Wilson; two daughters, Brenda Hall and Vickey Swain; 8 grandchildren, Dewayne, Selena, Greg, Lil Neal, Mathew, Nelson, Jimmy and Christy and 10 great grandchildren.
