I remember how much Ron loved being in plays or skits. He liked character type roles. He was always faithful to rehearsals and excited to be a part. When we seemed to lose some folks that had been involved in dramas, it was hard for him not to be able to do them any  more, because he was the only one left.  He was a faithful servant of God. A special friend.



I first met Ron when I was 17 and he was my baseball coach when I played on a team sponsored by Temple Baptist Church. The last time I saw him he he was delivering my mail in Shreveport before we moved from there. He remembered me and asked me if I used to play baseball and when he did I told him yes and that sparked my memory of him being our coach that season. He told me that the team he coached that year was the best team he had ever seen. Honestly it was the best baseball team that I ever played on myself. Every player on that team could have played on our high school team but there was politics back then and the coach didn't really give anyone a fair shot at playing. Long story but true. We coasted through that season going undefeated and won several of our games on the he 10 run rule. I remember the first game we played at the old Baptist Ball Park on Greenwood Road and we were all laughing and joking about the fence being so short. I would have loved to have had the opportunity to play the high school team just one time. Maybe God can arrange that in Heaven with our coach one day. I remember knowing Uncle Ronnie when I was growing up. He was always so nice to my family. May God bless the family at this time.   

Getting to know Bro. Ronnie through Emmanuel was an honor and a blessing to my family and I.  He worked with the youth for many years.  I will never forget the time he took to get to know my children and their special needs.  He will be missed and remembered by 'The Allen family'.  Prayer for comfort and strength is being lifted up for his family.

Still hard to accept you are gone. I think about you at night when I am lying in bed waiting for sleep. I remember what a great mentor I had in you. You lived,by example,the Christian Life. You were a hard worker. Seemed as though you never slowed down. I never heard a harsh word spoken against you Ronnie. Anytime your name was mentioned it was in love and accolades followed. You were a good man. Though I can hear you now responding  to that by saying ,it's all God. You loved people. I don't think you ever met a stranger. You served people as we are called to do by Jesus.  You were full of joy and laughter. Always had a joke to tell. You loved your family, you not only wanted the best for them, you were preparing for this day months ago. I want you to know that I will be watching over Starry and Billy Jo for you. I am sure many people will be. I am certain there were many waiting to greet you  as you arrived at the Father's side.  I can see you running to the feet of Jesus. I can see you running to your son that you have missed for so long. I love you Ronnie. I suspect I will think of you often. I will speak of you in laughter. I will speak of you when teaching others about hard work. I will remember you as a servant to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Thank you for investing your time in me. Thank you for being my friend.             

Ronnie was a dear friend to me and fun to be around. He also loved to work with the youth at church, always picking at some of them when he saw them. It was an honor for me to work with him in Dramas and skits. I will never forget his 'old ma' skit. Emmanuel Baptist Church was blessed to have him as a member, along with his family. 
I pray that God will continue to give the family peace and comfort,  to remember that God is always a prayer away.   The family can be assured  he  in is safe and happy in the arms of Jesus. 

So sad to hear about Ronnies passing. Great friend and fellow employee for over 20 years.  I'm out of town at this time but prayers for all the family members. He will be missed

 I am going to miss Mr. Ronnie Every time you come to the post office he will joke with me  and I would joke with him and we would always ask  where  Larry my husband at the other Post Office  and how is he doing . I would say they were you r Granddaughter she will say she string at the table in the break roomHe was always kind and I always had stories to tell you I am going to miss you deeply Mr. Ronnie gone too Soon 

I have known Mr. Ronnie since 1997.  I have always enjoyed the time we would share when he would come to our office.  He always had a smile and a funny story.  The Post Office will never be the same.  We will miss him.  

I worked with Mr. Ronnie years ago at the post office. He was always very nice and always had a smile on his face. Rest easy on the other side. My condolences to the family. 😓

My expression of condolences goes out to the family of Ronnie Culver.  I worked with him for many years until he retired from the Meriwether Station Post Office where we formed a great working relationship.  He was still currently  know as ‘The Uniform Man’ where I’d see him at least once a month.  I’ll truly miss Mr Ronnie’s great sense of humor.  The Post Office has certainly lost a very pleasant and dedicated lifetime carrier!!!!
