Many knew Rosa as "Momma." Her contagious smile was always followed with a warm "Hi, honey!" No one ever escaped her enthusiastic conversations about her garden or the pies and cakes she loved to bake. As a custom dressmaker for many of the brides in the Riverside, California area, she was known for her intricate work with lace. Roe's work was so well known that the diva, Etta James, sought her out for some of her daily wardrobe.
However, her greater love and dedication was to her God, Jehovah. She dedicated her life to correctly understanding what the Bible really teaches. As found in the Bible, her hope was to live on a perfect paradisaic earth, God's original purpose for humans. Knowing that she will be resurrected on to a perfect earth, ruled by Jesus Christ, her family members and friends long for that promise to come. (Genesis 1:28; Psalm 37:10-11, 29; Isaiah 65:17-25; Proverbs 2:21-22; Matthew 5:5; Daniel 2:44; John 11:24; Acts 24:15)
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Theron Madison Page; children, Theron Dean Page and Basil John Page (Emir Anahi Page); grandchildren, Basil Aaron Page (Vanessa Tellez-Page), Theron D. Page Jr., Alize Page, M'TessO Page, Shiki Page, Julius Christian Page, Monique Little, and Aaliyah Page; great grandchildren; Basil Aiden Page and Avaya Vee Page; and sisters, Sondra Hammond, Elaine Carico, Edlene Hammond, and Bobby Hammond.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6674 Arlington Avenue, Riverside, CA 92504-1926, on June 28, 2025 at 2:00pm. Officiating the service will be Bertrand Lollis and Adam Garcia. If possible, please wear floral print in Rosalee's honor.
