Sandra Reed Johnson

Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Sandra Reed Johnson, 71, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Minister Darwin Hunter. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Johnson was born on November 16, 1944 in Bedford, England and passed away on December 2, 2015 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was an avid gardener and reader, enjoyed sewing and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Sandra and J.W. fostered all the children in their families' lives and always made sure they were taken of. Sandra was the matriarch and backbone of her family.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents and husband, J.W. Johnson.

Left to cherish beautiful memories of Sandra are her daughters, Glenda Johnson and husband Christopher Kevil and Teresa Bruce; grandchildren, Megan Bruce, Cody Bruce, Ben Kevil and Claire Kevil; sisters, Mary Danley, Susan Fontenot and Johnann Brown; brother, Jim Reed; stepmother, Melba Tatum; special sister in laws, Rena Johnson and Pat Johnson and special nephew, Tim Johnson. Mrs. Johnson is also survived by numerous other special relatives and friends. We would like to thank her nephew, Tim Johnson for his special attention and care.

Honoring Sandra as pallbearers will be: Christopher Kevil, Ben Kevil, Tim Johnson, David Johnson, Cody Bruce and Steve Hines.
