Sarah M. McMichael Parvino

Shreveport, LA Sarah was born August 19, 1922 to Charles and Maude McMichael. She went to be with her Lord Monday, February 17, 2014 in Shreveport. Sarah grew up in Mansfield, LA, then moved to Shreveport, where she stayed. She married Louis Ervin Parvino, Sr. September 15, 1943 and was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Sarah is preceded in death by her husband; a son, Gerald Parvino; brothers, Carlton, Charles and Robert McMichael; sisters, Madgeline Palmer and Connie Nagle.

She is survived by a son, Louis Parvino and wife Linda; daughter, Carolyn O’Neal and husband Larry; four grandchildren, Troy, Sarah, Tiphanie and Adam; six great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

A service will be conducted Friday, February 21, 2014, 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Rick McDonald and Rev. Johnny Johnson. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 4 PM until 7 PM at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Troy Parvino, Adam O’Neal, Larry O’Neal, Joseph Balderson, David Bryant and Neal Palmer.
