Stella Nicholson, 86, of Shreveport passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 while her family and friends prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
The Chaplet of Divine Mercy was taught to St. Faustina by Jesus Christ promising that when they say this Chaplet in the presence of the dying, "I will stand between My father and the dying person, not as the Just Judge but as the Merciful Savior."
Stella was born in New York to the late Harry Bernhardt Roth and Marie Irene Lapierre Roth.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Nicholson and her son Robert K. Nicholson.
Stella is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Nicholson Ashton (Bob) and Linda Nicholson Hale (Gerald).
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
