Graveside services for Stephanie Marlene Wiley will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2025 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home and Park, 8801 Mansfield Rd., Shreveport, LA 71108. Officiating will be Minister Tommy Patton from Cypress Baptist Church.
Stephanie was born on January 18, 1958 to Richard M. Shaw and Martha E. Shaw in Shreveport, Louisiana. She passed away on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025 at the Riverview Nursing Home in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Stephanie was a resident of Bossier City. She was a homemaker and loving wife. She was also a loving and faithful member of the Bellaire Baptist Church. She graduated from Parkway High School in Bossier City, Louisiana. Stephanie attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana.
Stephanie and Larry Wiley were married on August 24, 1979. After graduation from NSU, Stephanie received her Masters Degree in seminary school in Texas. Stephanie and Larry moved back to Bossier City and lived most of their lives at the Cypress Lake Park. Larry was the Park Chaplain and Stephanie was his assistant. Stephanie loved working with children at the park, doing crafts, singing, telling children about God and all the love He had for them.
Stephanie loved her parents. She lived with and took care of them for years until they were placed in a care center. Stephanie had a sweet spirit throughout her lifetime and we all enjoyed being with her.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Larry W. Wiley; parents, Richard M. Shaw and Martha E. Shaw and brother, Craig A. Shaw.
She is survived by her brothers, Rudy Shaw and Eric Shaw; sisters-in-law, Cathy Shaw and Marcia Finley Shaw; nephews, Cody Shaw (Jessica) and Will Shaw(Shelby) and Jeff Padgett (Courtney); great nephews and niece, Ryder Padgett, Ridleigh Padgett, Beau Shaw, Levi Shaw, and Briggs Shaw.
