Stephen E Thompson

Steve worked 52 years in retail in Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana. He enjoyed fishing, camping and Oklahoma University Football. He loved making and eating chocolate chip cookies and Walda's Fudge recipe at Christmas. He was a Pawpaw who loved his granddaughters: Macy, Hannah and Alyssa, Dearly! He loved God, his family, and his country. He praised God at Central Assembly of God, in Haughton, Louisiana.

Steve joins in Heaven: his parents, Ernest and Eline Thompson; brother, Phillip Thompson; and sister, Mary Ann Thompson.

Left to cherish his memory are: his wife, Kay Thompson; sons, Keith Green (Monica) and Coy Green; granddaughters Macy, Hannah and Alyssa Green; brothers Doug Thompson (Walda), David Thompson (Brenda), and Clay Thompson (Sunnye); sisters Nina Chase (Larry) and Jamie Carroll (Mike); and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Steve will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 beginning at 2:30pm officiated by Pastor Jeff Gravis and Pastor Ken Richmond, at Hill Crest Memorial Blanchard Chapel, 356 Warriner Ave., Shreveport, Louisiana 71107. A reception will follow in the Hill Crest Memorial Blanchard Chapel hospitality hall.
