Terry was a loving and kind hearted man. He enjoyed spending time with his daughter and grandchildren. Terry also enjoyed traveling and being outdoors. His favorite place was his very own back yard, where he would sit and watch the deer and birds. Terry developed a deep relationship with God, and enjoyed going to church where he could worship and fellowship with others. After high school Terry worked as a butcher at Brookshire's for several years, before becoming an electrician. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). Terry joined the IBEW union in July of 1997.
Terry is survived by his daughter Madelyne Cox; grandchildren Rajah Cox and Phoenix Sisk; sisters Betty Poole and Joyce Gallea and her husband Joe.
A visitation for Terry will be held Monday, August 9, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108, followed by a memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM. Brother Buddy Hampton will be officiating, with Dr. Ivy Shelton assisting. Honorary Pallbearers are Randy Pease, Randy Stevenson and Travis Partin.
