Services for Mrs. Virginia Collins will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Pierce officiating. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. The family will receive guests on Thursday afternoon beginning at 12:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Virginia was a beautiful lady who loved her family, the New Orleans Saints, and fishing. She was born in Carmel, LA to the late Mr. and Mrs. John Boyett and entered into peaceful rest on Thursday, February 16th.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and four brothers. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 19 years, Mr. Johnny Collins, Sr.; son, David Alford; step-son, Johnny Collins, Jr.; sisters, Bobby Harmon, Jerry Walker, and Maryann Crum; and numerous extended family and friends.
