Cyril "Scott" Power

POWER, Cyril “Scott” – 43, Mill Village, Hants County, passed away peacefully April 27, 2011, at home. Born in St. John’s NL, on February 22, 1968, he was the son of Gerry and Emily (Langmead) Power and loving father of Michael and Matthew. He will be sadly missed by his parents and children, his sister Melissa and niece Aimee; as well as his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents and several uncles. Scott’s greatest joy was coaching Tri-County basketball. He was passionate about his horses and Pete his dog. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Sunday, May 1, at Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, with graveside committal service at 11 am, Monday, May 2, in St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Shubenacadie, Father Tom Kurudeepan officiating.
