Joseph John Closs

CLOSS, Joseph John – 78, Noel, Nova Scotia, formerly of Newmarket, ON, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2012 in his sleep at the Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Newmarket, ON, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marguerite Closs. He was a professor for twenty years, an engineer and inventor. He served in the Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada, in Cambridge ON; a Sergeant at Arms for Branches 232 and 166 of the Royal Canadian Legion. He will be greatly missed by son Joseph, daughter-in-law Maria, grandchildren Cristina and Carmine, all of Richmond Hill, ON; and other family and friends. Visitation starting at 1pm until time of service at 3pm, in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Rev. David LeBlanc officiating.
