Kathleen Irene Ainslie

AINSLIE, Kathleen I. - 59, Lantz/Shubenacadie, passed away peacefully at the QEII on September 5, 2012. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of the late John and A. Louise (Shaw) Ainslie. Kathleen grew up in Shubenacadie and later lived in Lantz Group Home. She worked at CCOA for several years. She is survived by her sisters Frances Cameron and Bernice (Ron) McLean; housemates Ruth Isenor and Danny Hurshman; niece Denise (Shann) Paget and nephew Scott (Tanya) McLean; two great nieces; several cousins and aunts Ruth Daniels and Beulah Shaw. Kathleen was predeceased by an infant sister. Visitation will take place 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Friday with funeral service 11am, Saturday, September 8, both in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Pastor Paul VanderKooy officiating. Interment in Brookside Cemetery, Mill Village. Reception following the Interment in the funeral home.
