

Charles Wesley “Red” Williams, 75, of Sikeston died May 8, 2011 at his home. He was born on April 23, 1936 in Blodgett, MO to the late John and Niva Goetz Williams. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Sikeston. He had been employed at Bob’s Salvage in Sikeston as a salesman. On June 6, 1954 in Hernando, MS he married Lillian Marie Brewer who survives of the home.
He is also survived by three sons; Kenneth Williams of Canalou, Tim Williams of Sikeston and John Williams of Parkersburg, WV; two daughters; Cathy Holifield Shepard of Jackson, MO and Pamela Clifton of Moline, IL and one sister, Wanda Ellis of Pleasant Valley, IA. 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Smithey and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Thursday in the Nunnelee Chapel. Rev. Austin Maxwell, Associate Pastor of the First Assembly of God Church in Sikeston will be officiating assisted by Rev. Mary McCord of the First Christian Church of Sikeston.
