Corey L. Green

Corey was born on February 17, 1975 in Sikeston, MO to Jackie Davis and Luther Green Jr.

On October 20, 2012 in Sikeston, MO he married Takeisha Draper, who survives of the home in Memphis, TN.

Corey graduated from New Madrid County Central High School in 1993. He then enrolled into the United States Marine Corps. Later in life, Corey took on the trade of plumbing. He was employed at Milwaukee Tool in Olive Branch, MS.

He is survived by his children; Andrew Allen, TayShaun Green and Korionna Green; parents, Jackie and Michael Warfield, Luther and Becky Green and Janie Green-Griffith; paternal grandmother, Maggie Green; siblings, Torey Green Smith, Matt Marshall, Lora Green Williams, Paige Taylor Ranson, Trinity Taylor and Elijah Green; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Corey was preceded in death by his son, Jalen Green; maternal grandparents, Beatrice and John Henry Davis; paternal grandfather, Luther Green Sr. and a host of uncles and cousins.

Wake will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 noon at Green Memorial COGIC, 113 Clayton Ave., Sikeston, MO with Terrance Flenoid, Pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Lilbourn, MO, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.

Pallbearers will be Matt Marshall, Eddie Mills, Armster Robinson, Sam Weaver Jr., Marquis Rello Frazier, Tank Wofford and Norris Pullen IV.
