She was born September 2, 1958 in Dexter, MO., to the late Clarence and Peggy Thurman Hughes.
Survivors include: two sisters, Annette Hughes of Sikeston, MO., and Ginger Hughes of Sikeston, MO.; one brother, Bobby Smith of Illinois; two nephews, Trenton Hughes of Sikeston, MO., and Julian Yarbrough of Sikeston, MO.
A graveside service will be held Saturday August 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Blodgett City Cemetery in Blodgett, MO.
