

Born August 24, 1928, in Benton County, Tn., to the late Garvin and Geneva Pierce Wimberley. On January 3, 1965, in Wickliffe, Ky., he married Ida Dodds who preceded him in death on February 27, 2002.
He owned and operated Wimberley Farms in Sikeston, until his retirement and was of Baptist faith.
Survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Donald and Teri Wimberley of Troup, Tx., Carl Wimberley of Gonzales, La., and Pete and Tina Wimberley of Sikeston, Mo.; four Daughters and three sons-in-law, Carolyn and Charles Dill of Loganville, Ga., Bonnie Adams of Sikeston, Mo., Wanda and Richard Compass of Farmington, Mo., and Barbara and Tom Gordon of Crestville, Fl.; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, three brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held Tuesday February 23, 2016 from 5pm – 8pm at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 24, 2016 at 10am, at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Amos Johnson and Bro. John Givens officiating.
Interment will follow at New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Mo.
Pallbearers will be Walter Adams Jr., Scott Wimberley, Jarrod Baker, Arlin Pullen, Joe Sanders, and Tim Sanders
