Doris Ann McDaniel

Doris Ann McDaniel, 66, of Sikeston, died Friday, January 6, 2012, at her home. Born April 26, 1945, in Poplar Bluff, to the late Dolivan Gene and Margaret Augusta Walker Roberts, she was employed for thirteen years by Good Humor Breyers in Sikeston. On March 3, 1962, in Sikeston, she married James Curtis McDaniel, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two daughters and one son-in-law, Kelley Dawn McDaniel of Dexter and Stacey LeAnn and Tim Comstock of Dexter; one brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Wanda Douglas Roberts of Carmi, IL; and six grandchildren, Tim Ryan Comstock, Christopher Powell, Nathan McDaniel, Zachary Comstock, Jonathan Comstock and Madelyn McDaniel. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Quincy, and one sister, Melba Jean Arnold.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00pm Sunday, January 8, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 10:30am Monday, with the Rev. Mitchell Jackson, pastor of Miner Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
