She was born on August 13, 1937, in Newbern, TN to the late E.C. and Marie Foster Bell.
On June 2, 1956, in Piggott AR, she married Loy Jackson Overbey who preceded her in death on December 15, 2017.
She worked and retired from the Employment Office.
She is survived by two sons, David Overbey of Sikeston, MO and Dennis Overbey of Sikeston, MO; one sister Nell Gregory of Vero Beach, FL; two grandchildren, Rachel Overbey and Justin Overbey and three great grandchildren, McKenzie Midgett, Raylee Midgett and Liliana Midgett.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO., Bro. Larry Kirby pastor of Abundant Grace Church in Bertrand, MO., officiating.
Burial will follow at the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, MO.
