

She was born December 15, 1932 in Sikeston, MO., to the late Marion and Julia Palmer.
On May 2, 1954 in Sikeston, MO., she married Clarence Maxwell, who preceded her in death on August 15, 1978.
She was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Christian and a pioneer charter member of Smith Ave Church of God in Sikeston, MO.
Survivors include: two sons and two daughters-in-law, Austin and Anita Maxwell of Sikeston, MO., and Edwin and Tenna Maxwell of Sikeston, MO.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Carol King of Sikeston, MO., Stella Lee and Claude Cooper of Benton, MO., and Rhonda and Scott Huffman of Fredricktown, MO.; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother, LeRoy Palmer; two granddaughters, Kendra Gray and Misty Lee; and one grandson, Chad Cato.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Smith Ave Church of God in Sikeston, MO. with Rev. Raymond Britt, officiating. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
Pallbearers: Matthew Seabaugh, James Lewis Jr., Bobby Gray III, Austin Maxwell Jr., Jack Lee and Sean Lee.
