Elmer Eugene Burns, 66, of Sikeston, died November 3, 2013, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. Born October 1, 1947, in Catron, to the late Harry Eugene and Helen Young Burns, he was a resident of Hunter Acres Nursing Home.
Survivors include: 3 brothers, Herbert Burns of Lexington, Leon Crumb of Qulin and Joseph Brown of the state of Arizona; 1 sister, Thelma Muhs of Sikeston; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Raymond Crumb; and 2 sisters, Carolyn Shepard and Maryetta Ross.
A visitation for family and friends is scheduled for Friday, November 15, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
