

Floyd Crowley, age 93, of Sikeston, died May 5, 2013, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center. Born May 4, 1920, in Truman, Ark., to the late James W. and Marzella Cline Crowley, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of North Acres General Baptist Church in Sikeston, where in earlier years he served as a deacon. He also was a member of the Morehouse and Sikeston Odd Fellows Lodge, and was a past Grand of the Sikeston Lodge. He was employed by Union Electric from 1950 until 1984, retiring after 34 years. On June 28, 1940, in Morehouse, he married Mary Wamble, who preceded him in death on August 16, 2006.
Also preceding him in death were five brothers, Clarence Crowley, Ray Crowley, James W. Crowley, C.J. Crowley, and his twin brother, Loyd Crowley.
Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth Ellen and Earl Clifton of Doraville, Ga., and Beverly and Jerry Green of Charleston. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Rhonda Menz of Sikeston, Rick Wallace of Winder, Ga., and John Clifton and David Clifton, both of Doraville, Ga.; and three great grandchildren, Libby Menz, Matthew Menz and Andrew Wallace.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 9, at 10:30 am in the Nunnelee Chapel, with Rev. Harold Christian, pastor of the Bible Missionary Church in Blytheville, Ark., and Rev. James Trotter, pastor of the `First General Baptist of Morehouse, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Green, Earl Clifton, Rick Wallace, Andrew Wallace, Brian Menz and Matthew Menz.
