Frances Belle Kessler, 83, of Sikeston, died January 23, 2014, at the Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston. Born May 12, 1930, to the late James Walton and Clara Belle Baughers Beavers, she had been employed at Missouri Delta Medical Center as a nurse’s aide, and was a homemaker. On February 10, 1961, in Cairo, Ill., she married Robert Maxwell Kessler, who preceded her in death on November 2, 1989.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, James and Jean Crowe Sr. of Sikeston; two daughters, Terry Moore and Sharon Kessler, both of Sikeston; one brother, James Walton Beavers of Sikeston; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, John T. Beavers; and five sisters, Margaret Ray, Tamara Cunningham, Katherine Dover, Olive Cole and Stella Gosnell.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 27, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Pat Hogan of the Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
