James Holt

He was born August 21, 1950 in Sikeston, MO., to the late Lester and Hattie Loveless Holt.

He was of Baptist Faith; he had been a Boy Scout leader and a Cub Scout leader; he was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 3174 and the S.E.M.O. Swampers PT 15; he was a retired truck driver.

On July 17, 1993 in Clearwater, FL. he married Joan Watson Holt who survives of the home.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Candace Goehri of Sikeston, MO.; one daughter and son-in-law, Hope and Matt Crossett of Hudson, FL.; seven grandchildren, Hannah Cude, Jacob Holt, Jordan Peterson, Amanda Cummins, Austin Hopkins, Katie Hines and Jimmy Hines; one great-grandson, Gabe Cummins; five brothers, Gary Holt, Donald Holt, Glen Holt, Perry Holt and Robert Holt; one sister, Pamela Haws.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, James Holt Jr. and Jason Holt; one brother, Bruce Holt.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A private burial will be held at a later date.
