

Jimmy Russell Haynes, 79, of Sikeston, died January 19, 2014, at his home. Born February 14, 1934, in Double Springs, Ala., to the late William and Mattie Tidwell Haynes, he was the owner/operator of West End Rentals Appliance Store for 20 years. He was a member of the Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church in Sikeston. On August 6, 1960, in Charleston, he married Juanita Campbell, who survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Barbara Haynes of New Madrid, Rick and Stacey Haynes of Sikeston and Ronnie and Ladonna Haynes of Sikeston; one daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Brian Stevens of Bonne Terre; and three sisters and one brother-in-law, Wanda and Jerry Kelley of Sikeston, and Ruth Dunlop and Lois Hunter, both of Houston, Tex. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Resa Agcopra, one granddaughter, Stacey Haynes, eight brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Johnny Sliger, pastor of the Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church in Sikeston, officiating.
Interment will follow at a later date.
