

He was born on November 10, 1928 in Florence, AL. to the late William McGee Jr. and Sallie Burgess McGee.
On May 4, 1946 in Sikeston, MO. he married Margaret “Maxine” Lane McGee who preceded him in death on January 4, 2009.
Johnny served in the United States Army. He was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include, two sons, Bob (Myrtle) McGee of Bloomsdale, MO. and Michael (Linda) McGee of Oakville, MO.; one daughter, Darla (Joe) Tinker of Desoto, MO.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda McGee; three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO.
Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield MO. with military honors.
