He was born January 2, 1954 in Pekin, IL., to the late Kenneth Grimes and Lova Simmons Dickson.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Amanda Grimes of Matthews, MO.; one daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Jason Schuerenberg of Matthews, MO.; two brothers, Edward Grimes of Matthews, MO., and Robert Dickson of Peoria, IL.; two sisters, Dona Tilley of Poplar Bluff, MO., and Connie Grimes of Sikeston, MO.; two grandchildren, Aliva Grimes of Matthews, MO., and Connor Schuerenberg of Matthews, MO.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step father, Kenneth Earl Dickson and one brother, Kenneth Ray Dickson.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday May 5, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO. with Pastor Frank Worthington, officiating.
