

Lottie J. Mon, 87, of Sikeston, died March 14, 2012 at the Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau, MO. She was born October 3, 1924 in Casa, AR, to the late J.T. and Florence Hubbard Yarbrough. She was a homemaker and real estate broker, and a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston. On August 12, 1946, in Sikeston, she married Emilio Mon, who preceded her in death on January 14, 2001.
One son, Robert Anthony Mon, preceded her in death on August 5, 1995; and one daughter, Sarah Isabelle Mon, preceded her in death on November 4, 2000. She also was preceded in death by one sister, Marie Holmes, and two brothers, Corporal Mason Yarbrough and Ted Yarbrough.
Survivors include: one sister, Rose Collins of Kansas City, MO; two grandchildren, Lauren Mon Owen and Mike Mon, both of Tampa, FL; and many devoted nieces and nephews, Leroy Holmes of Oran, Glenn Holmes of Sikeston, Mary Ann Janner of McKenzie, TN, Bill Holmes of Oran, Shirley Anderson of Sikeston, Jim Yarbrough of Franklin, TN, Charlie Yarbrough of Grand Junction, CO, David Yarbrough of Matthews, Ronnie Hartline of Cape Girardeau, Dennis Collins of Kansas City, MO, Mark Collins of Gravois Mills, MO and Susan Coppock of Kansas City, MO.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00pm Sunday at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where a rosary will be held at 7:30pm.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00am Monday, March 19, 2012 at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston, with Father Glenn Eftink, pastor, officiating.
The committal service will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Holmes, Scott Holmes, Chad Holmes, Terry Holmes, Joaquin Anderson, Ben Anderson and Jeremy Anderson.
