

Mary Jane Woodard, age 73, of Sikeston, died August 17, 2015, at her home. Born September 24, 1941, in Pope County, Ark., to the late Leonard and Margie Eakin Ballard, she was a homemaker. On June 3, 1960, in Bell City, she married John Woodard, who survives.
Additional survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Kenny and Tina Woodard of Sikeston and John Woodard Jr. of Sikeston; one daughter, Karen Guevara of the Kwajalein Islands; and one brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Darlene Ballard of Sikeston. Also surviving are five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dwayne Ballard and Everett Ballard.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until time of the funeral service at noon on Saturday, August 22, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, with Pat Hogan, minister of the Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Woodard, Matthew Woodard, Rusty Jones, John Carlos Guevara, Fred Brown and Ty Brown.
