Monico Arcile Haywood was born September 14,1939, in Canalou, Mo to parents Herman and Monico Haywood.
After graduation, she moved to Redwood City, CA
where she met and married Richard Boyes, having 2 children David and Carol. ln 1975, they moved to Oregon where she remained until her passing.
She did many things during her life, the most important of which was to raise her children. Richard passed away during the pandemic and she lost her much loved son last year in 2025. After a long fight with lymphoma, she went to be with Jesus on March 1, 2026. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Keller.
May God's grace be with her for she is now at peace.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 12 noon. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO.
