Nina Miller

She was born on June 1, 1940, in Pope County, Arkansas to William O. “Skeet” Deal and Mary Louisa “Taft” Deal. She graduated from Gray Ridge High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William “Skeet” Deal and Mary “Taft” Deal, 7 brothers- Junior, Bill, Charles, Robert, Farrel, Glen, infant brother Danny Deal and sister, Edna Marion (Deal).

She was joined in marriage to Hershel P. Miller on Christmas Eve 1975 and became mother to 5 children- Danny, Jimmy, Beverly, Rodney and Debbie. These children later blessed her with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her husband, Hershel Miller, preceded her in death as well as son, Rodney Miller.

She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by siblings Carl (Carolyn) Deal of St. Peters, Missouri, Jim (Joanne) Deal of Medford, Oregon, Ken (Wanda) Deal of Williamsville, Missouri, Darrel (Sheryl) Deal of Auburn, Pennsylvania, Carrol (Gayle) Deal of Springfield, Missouri, as well as children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10am until time of funeral service at 12pm on Monday, February 24, 2025, at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Missouri with nephew, Alex Holloway, officiating.

Honored to be pallbearers are Jeff Marion, Ray McGuire, Tony Littrell, Grant Jones, Mitch Wexler, and Charlie Marion.
