Sandra Lynn Cooper, age 54, of Bertrand, died May 29, 2015, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Born May 2, 1961, in Millington, Tenn., to Jack H. and Helen Starnes Kirkland, who survive of Munford, Tenn., she was employed by the Sikeston Elks Lodge #2319 for over seventeen years. She was of the Assembly of God belief.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her fiancé, Wayne Turpin of Bertrand; one son and daughter-in-law, Shawn and Mindy Cooper, stationed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany; one daughter, Amber Cooper of Sikeston; and one brother and sister-in-law, David and Lynn Kirkland of Memphis, Tenn.
Visitation will begin at noon until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 2, at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Rev. Keithel Boothe, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church in Brighton, Tenn., will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
