Terry Evans

Born May 12, 1951, in Haleyville, AL., to the late Curtis and Ina Bird Evans.

He married Donna West Evans on May 10, 1975 in Sikeston, MO., who survives of the home.

He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served three years in the 82nd Airborne.

Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Joe Shipps of Sikeston, MO.; three brothers, Travis Evans of Hawaii, Larry Evans of Oregon and Bobby Evans of Sikeston, MO.; one sister, Carolyn Evans of Sikeston, MO.; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Eric Evans; two brothers, Jack Evans and Curtis Evans Jr.; and two sisters, Ruby Starks and Jackie Day.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 11, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church in Sikeston, MO. with Rev. Johnie Sliger, pastor of Illinois Avenue General Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston, MO. with full military honors.
