Walter Hyde

He was born on May 3, 1948 in Winfield, AL. to the late Tommy and Lela Garner Hyde.

He retired from Burkart Foam, Inc. in Cairo, IL. In 1998.

On August 31, 1968 in Sikeston, MO. he married Wanda Hubbard Hyde, who survives of the home in Sikeston, MO.

Other survivors include one son, Walter (Yolanda) Hyde Jr. of Sikeston, MO.; two brothers, Jimmy Hyde of Sikeston, MO. and Eugene Hyde of Andrews, TX.; two sisters, Linda Nierman of Doniphan, MO. and Mary Heuring of Sikeston, MO.; three grandchildren Justin (Brittney) Hyde, Quenton (Giulia) Hyde and Jacob Hyde; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Hyde and Adalynn Hyde and his “fur” baby, Chewy and “fur” great-grand dogs, Navy, Riley and Jaxon.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, James Hyde; five brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, MO. Rev. Maxey Schrieber and Rev. Jason Schrieber, pastors at Living Water Church in Sikeston, MO., officiating.

Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO. with military honors.
