Wanda Witt

Born July 5, 1934, in Sikeston, MO., to the late William and Grace Adams Hendley. She retired from Montgomery Bank after thirty years of service, where she worked as a cashier, teller and as the branch manager at the Miner location. She was a member of Tanner Street Church of God in Sikeston, MO.

On April 3, 1954, in Sikeston, MO., she married Paul Joe Witt, who preceded her in death on January 20, 2008.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Marcia Witt of Sikeston, MO.; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Terri and Lyndall Cook of Marble Hill, MO., Anita and Jeff Mitchell of Memphis, TN.; seven grandchildren, Madeline, Miranda and Megan Witt, Matthew Angle, Cameron, Amanda and Benjamin Mitchell.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., Paul Matte, pastor of East Prairie Church of God in East Prairie, MO., officiating.

Burial will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.

Pallbearers will be: Matthew Angle, Cameron Mitchell, Benjamin Mitchell, Jeff Mitchell, Lyndall Cook and Kevin Heuiser.
