Lynda and I became very close to Bernie and Sandy over the past few years. We had dinner together very often, went out together in Florida, had Sunday morning breakfast together in the summer, and played cards together very often. We were devastated when we received Sandy’s text and planned to come up and be with the family for funeral and shiva. We received the instruction that the the funeral and shiva were going to be private so we didn’t come up, which was probably better for me because I’m still very weak from my cancer treatment. We’re obviously still in shock as are all of their friends who are with us in Florida.  Please tell us if there’s anything we can do to help. Ron West
