Loving, devoted wife of the late Carroll Wilson Harding Sr.
Loving mother to John Thomas Harding, Carol Jane Bachman, Carroll Wilson Harding Jr. (Jeanmaire), and James Lee Harding.
Cherished grandmother to Allison June Stokes (Ray), Julia Paige Harding, Savannah Jane Bachman, Amanda Marie Putman (Michael), and Jennifer Nicole Harding (Jeffery).
Dearly loved great-grandmother to Justin Wilson Harding, Carlee Nicole Jackson, Kaylee Nicole Jackson, Jeffery “J3” Edward Jackson III, Charlotte Grace Putman, James Wilson Putman, and Lillian Celeste Putman.
Bonus grandmother to James, Giovanni, Celicia, Alexis and bonus great-grandmother to Sawyer.
Life long special friend to Pat and Dennis Morrissett and Godmother to David Red.
Affectionately known to all as “Gram,” she was passionate about everything she did. She retired as a bus driver with MCPS and immediately began volunteering at Montgomery General Hospital, where her only complaint was that they would only allow her to come in twice a week.
She loved her kitties, crafting, decorating her home for the holidays, cooking for everyone, and having her house full, loud, and filled with laughter. When neighborhood children and friends of her great-grandchildren came over, they would greet her with a cheerful, “Hi, Gram!” Her response was always the same: “Oh, hi, honey.” The only thing Gram didn’t like was a quiet house, and would say “It’s awful quiet around here”.
She had a special gift for making everyone feel safe and loved. Both tender and tough, she was a constant source of support and strength to those she held dear.
Her memory will be cherished, and her presence will be felt forever.
