Words cannot convey my sense of loss over the passing of my dear friend. Carlotta was an  amazing woman with a selfless and compassionate heart. She will be deeply missed by many. She fought a long, hard fight and is now without pain. Rest peacefully my Sista. Sending all my love and prayers to Andre and Jessica.

Carlotta have been our friend for more than 42 years.  She was always there when we needed her.  We will miss her beautiful smile, her laughter, and her advice on life.
This circle will never be broken,  although God called you home.

My loving sister was always there for her family in times of need. The family will miss you so much and we know that you would want us to move forward. Although my heart is heavy, I feel good that you're in no more pain and in a better place now. Rest in peace Big Sister, you will never be forgotten.

My Prayers and Sympathies are with you for your lose of a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. Yes, Nita wore all those different hats and loved each role. Her gentle spirit, kind heart and beautiful smile will be missed.   "Rest In Paradise" 

God could not have blessed me with a more amazing mother. I don’t know what was greater, her strength or her love, but both made you feel like you could move mountains. I’m thankful I had the blessing and opportunity to have her by my side the last 27 years, and of course I would have loved 27 more, but she’s no longer suffering. She’s no longer in pain. And that’s most important. I will always miss my mom because she was more than that. She was/is my best friend, my strength, my motivation, my reasons, my confidant, my baby, my everything. May her smile/laugh and memories last always. May she watch over and guide my dad and I always. My Queen has become my Angel. ❤️ 

Carlotta was an amazing woman. Loving & kind with a big heart. She had a wonderful sense of humor & could make us laugh. And what a sense of style! Always up on the newest music & could rock it out at Beyoncé & Mary J.  I have fond memories of all of us going to the concerts. She will be missed by so many. My prayers are with her family.

I will always remember her laugh. Carlotta had a way of making you feel uplifted without trying (she really could have been a comedian). She had such a wonderful spirit. She always spoke highly of her husband and said many times how good he was to her. Her daughter was her world and she was so proud of her and I enjoyed hearing of each of her accomplishments. God could not have chosen a better person to make one of His angels. She will bring a lot of joy in heaven.
