Charles Ellis Goldberg, 79, passed away peacefully on July 24 in Rockville, MD. He was born April 29, 1943 to Louis and Julia Goldberg and was a respected adolescent psychiatrist for over 40 years. He was a beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his sons, Benjamin (Elyse Wasch) of Washington, DC and Jesse (Elizabeth) of Ithaca, NY, his grandchildren Gabriella, Madeleine, Sandy, Evan, and Seth, and nephews and nieces. Funeral services will take place at noon on July 26 at the Garden of Remembrance. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Shepherd’s Table, in Silver Spring, where he volunteered for several years.
